Whether your school runs its own buses or a bus company serves many schools, every rider's boarding and drop-off is recorded like a pickup at the door.
Routes and stops
Morning and afternoon routes, stops placed on the map, riders assigned to their stop, planned times.
Drivers use the staff app
No separate driver app. Start the run, tap riders on and off, mark absences, hand a child to an authorised adult at the stop.
Live position
While a run is on, the bus's position goes to the school's dispatcher and to parents of riders who are waiting or on board.
Arrival estimates
From the bus's position when it has one, otherwise from how late it is against the plan. Parents see "about 6 min".
Bus companies
A bus company is its own organization with depots and drivers, linked to each school it serves by contract.
Location only on a run
The driver's phone shares location only while a run is in progress, and stops when the run ends.
Maps without trackers
Vavr's maps are drawn from OpenStreetMap data that we host ourselves. No third-party map service sees where your buses or families are.
