Live on your lock screen
Follow a pickup from "asked" to "handed over", and get a note when your child is dropped off or collected.
Choose who collects
Add grandparents, a nanny or a carpool parent with their photo. Remove them any time.
One-time codes
A neighbour collecting today? Send them a code for up to seven days. They don't need the app.
Where's the bus?
If your child rides the school bus, see it on the map and when it will reach your stop.
Faster at the door
Scan the door's code with the app, or tap your Android phone, and sign on your own screen.
Your privacy
No facial recognition, ever. You see photos and signatures only for adults you added yourself.
Getting the app
Vavr for Android is in testing on Google Play, with iPhone to follow. Your school will send you an invitation when it starts using Vavr. Until then, you can use Vavr in your phone's browser from the invitation link.
Vavr is for parents, guardians and school staff. Children do not have accounts.
Questions
Do I have to install the app to collect my child?
No. The door tablet works for everyone. The app is for your own convenience: notifications, faster pickups, and managing who may collect.
Why does the tablet take my photo?
So the teacher can compare it with the photo on file before handing over your child. A person compares them; Vavr never matches faces automatically.
Who can see my photo and signature?
Staff at your child's school, as the school allows. Other parents never see them. You see them only for adults you added.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, open Settings and choose Delete my account, or use the account deletion page.
